We had an amazing opening day today, after adventuring in the historic city of Salem! Thanks to all our first panelists *ever* this evening for providing a killer start 💀✨ Looking forward to more fun and thinking together tomorrow! 🐦⬛

Good morning, Salem~ 🐦⬛
We’re delighted to see you this afternoon for our big kick-off, but if you’re spending the day beforehand exploring the city, let us know! We’d love to share your Salem adventure. Just remember to bundle up! 🥀💀

Your Humble Servant assures you that you’re definitely not alone in that regard 😉 I’m certain we’ll be stoked to see the fruits of your labor very soon! 🖤
Would I be attending a conference if I WASN'T working on my presentation two days before? Anxiety scramble writing and editing aside, I'm so stoked to presenting at @AmGothicSociety's American Nightmares symposium.
If you're attending @AmGothicSociety's conference in Salem, send us your proposals for Gothic Literary Studies, our award-winning series dedicated to publishing ground-breaking scholarship on the Gothic genre. #SoStuAmeriGothic

Mfw I realize I miscounted days ago, and we're not three days away from our inaugural symposium in Salem, but TWO (more in excitement than embarrassment although that is slightly a factor!):
Four days away from our inaugural symposium, and Your Humble Servant is pondering hashtags. #SSAG is shortest, but a bit vague. #SSAmeriGothic reminds one of a ship. #SSAmGoth sounds like a Goth ship? And #AmericanNightmares could apply to many things currently. Much to consider!
It's St. Patrick's Day, and we're five days away from our inaugural symposium in Salem, MA. I'd be remiss if I didn't invite us to reflect on how the American Gothic and Irish Gothic have been and still are in dialogue, and hope for future opportunities to think deeply with #SSAG
Five days until the Symposium, and the weather looks to be mostly sunny during our stint in Salem -- for now. Our members from more sultry climes would be wise to prepare for a spring chill!

An auspicious Ides of March to friends and countrymen (and any Romans who might be reading). We are six days out from our symposium in Salem! Please make sure to empty your conference bags of any suspiciously sharp objects before you begin your journey next week.
Join us as we count down to our inaugural symposium, "American Nightmares," taking place in haunted and historic Salem, MA one week from today -- featuring our keynote reader, author Paul Tremblay! Learn more at https://t.co/TgkPsNseSo
