This is so absurd. The U.S. Supreme Court has no role here and never did. Democrats made this appeal to do exactly what Spanberger just did with this irrelevant point. They’re blaming SCOTUS instead of themselves for breaking the law and ignoring the Virginia constitution.
@NormOrnstein The hatred of deranged left-wing activists toward Alito is one way you know that Alito is a remarkable jurist. Alito is not swayed by pressure campaigns from dark money groups and their lackeys who attempt to destroy rule of law in America with their assaults on the courts.
Only one chance in this lifetime…
Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.
I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.
Honored that my piece on the media's psychotic coverage of the Michigan Hezbollah terrorist attack on 140 Jewish American preschoolers was addressed by NPR's public editor.

How do people in the suburbs genuinely look forward to Friday night on the couch, Saturday morning at Costco, and call that a weekend?
Like you really moved out of the city just to LARP as your parents at 34?

Senator Markwayne Mullin owns a plumbing business, one of the biggest and most successful in Oklahoma. He also owns restaurants, an environmental services company and is a rancher.
.@ColumbiaBDS was founded when I was at @Columbia. Don’t let the university lie to you: they know perfectly well which students are involved in this anti American, Islamist enterprise that just PUBLICLY POSTED “DEATH TO AMERICA”. And their continued non action is the reason the school will never receive a single dollar from me again.
Happy birthday to the great John Steinbeck, whose Nobel Prize-winning voice and unforgettable characters echo through generations of readers and writers alike 📚

I am glad to learn that the faculty of the political science department at UCLA are currently examining the behavior of their member, Professor Margaret Peters, and are considering withdrawing their support for her serving as the Associate Director of the Burkle Center for International Relations. @DavidAFrench I have no empathy for fraudsters, free, loaders, and criminals. It’s really that simple. Anybody in this country illegally as a criminal, no exceptions. They have no respect for our country and I have none for them in return. They’ve earned it.
BREAKING TRUCKEE AVALANCHE UPDATE:
Eight people are dead and one remains missing after a backcountry avalanche near Castle Peak in Nevada County, authorities said.
The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office called it one of the most significant incidents the agency has handled in recent years, noting the situation remains ongoing and details could change.
Dispatch received a 911 call at about 11:30 a.m. reporting an avalanche in the Castle Peak area, north of Interstate 80 at Donner Summit heading toward Truckee. Officials said the slide happened in rugged, remote backcountry terrain, not at a ski resort or groomed area.
The group was part of a three-day guided trip to the Frog Lake Huts led by Blackbird Mountain Guides out of Truckee. There were 15 people on the trip, four guides and 11 guests, after one person backed out at the last minute. Sunday was the third day, and the group was heading out of the backcountry toward the trailhead when the avalanche hit.
Truckee Fire and the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office responded and requested assistance from Tahoe Nordic, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and the Placer County Sheriff’s Office. About 50 highly skilled search and rescue personnel deployed from both the north and south sides of the area.
Officials described the weather conditions as extreme, with heavy winds making visibility nearly impossible. It took time to get equipment staged along I-80 before sending teams into the field, and responders relied in part on an iPhone SOS alert that confirmed six survivors.
Just after 5:30 p.m., a snowcat transported rescuers to within about two miles of the scene. Teams then skied in and located six survivors, one guide and five guests, who had taken shelter with some equipment. Two of the survivors were not mobile and had to be transported two miles back to the snowcat. All six were eventually rescued off the mountain.
Survivors ranged in age from 30 to 55. Of the 15 people on the trip, nine were women and six were men.
Rescuers located three deceased victims while waiting for additional teams to arrive. Authorities said eight of the nine people initially unaccounted for have now been found dead. The search continues for the ninth missing person, though officials said ongoing weather conditions are making operations dangerous for rescue crews.
Two survivors were injured. One has been stabilized and released, and the other remains hospitalized. Both are expected to survive.
Honored to have the inaugural column in a new @realDailyWire culture & lifestyle section on why I went on weight loss injections, not at all an intimidating thing to share with the world

Highly verbal people who make their living with words have great difficulty modeling the minds of readers whose idea of a good book is self-help, a phoned-in celebrity biography, or a James Patterson novel, but those folks outnumber us by a lot.
