The EFF in its discipline & the ANC in its response, have today amplified the very service delivery issues the protest was about.
Citizens see that govt suddenly has the ability to mobilise resources - but only when their position is threatened
It was a flop, but not for the EFF

The ANC belittling today’s protest and calling it a “flop” is exactly what they always do - try to be cute and quirky when the evidence that they are a defunct government is overwhelming.

For as long as they continue deflecting from their failures they must prepare to lose power

@IanCameron23 EFF has by far achieved its aim. Four days of uninterrupted power supply, law enforcement on the street and not in the barracks, ministers actively supervising their departments, Ian Cameron tweeting about them every second, that's not small feat! It's called publicity stunt

Law enforcement in South Africa comes out in numbers only when people are protesting not when people are being killed , robbed , human trafficked or raped . You will literally never see them in number for anything else

The police are intended to protect the public
Not issue them with intimidation warnings like “if you don’t feel the water canon you will feel the rubber bullets”
