Khabib Nurmagomedov says his public support for Palestine has come at a commercial cost, claiming that several sponsors have ended their partnerships with him and members of his team.

According to the former UFC champion, the fallout has also affected fighters including Islam Makhachev and Usman Nurmagomedov, who have likewise voiced their support for Palestine.

Khabib said some companies were unwilling to continue their commercial relationships with the fighters because of their public statements and positions on the issue. He described the sponsorship losses as a direct consequence of their decision to speak openly in support of Palestine.
