@collectortreas1 The biggest problem with Alicent arc is that neither she shows any kind of emotions to any of her children/family nor anyone else knows the amount of times she has betrayed them. Aemond is the first one to find out and I'll be mad if he doesn't say this to Aegon
@collectortreas1 Should've made her like this from the start of S3, even in books it said that losing Jace gave her some kind of strength that she lost after losing Luke. It would've also helped Alicent character to go and poison Aemond (if Rhaneyra kind of forced it upon herself aggressively)
@wynafrydly I'll forever say this, this show was always scared about Blood and Cheese arc because it completely ruins the image of their so called fav Daemon. Making it seem like an accident wasn't enough, they had to ruin the aftermath as well
im sympathetic when people say akotsk and hotd are incomparable bc of scale and the source material’s adaptability but at the same time, dunk getting up during the trial using his sword as a crutch moved me more with 2.5 hours of build-up than anything in hotd w 3 full seasons
