@AshleyGWinter I was taught that if you do it towards yourself, you will inevitably slip, resulting in massive blood spatter ruining the kitchen and a trip to the ER where you’ll return missing at LEAST a couple fingers.
To avoid that (clearly rational, likely) risk, I do it away from myself.
@VivicorpCEO @DuchessSexpert I’ve always assumed the people spouting sexuality as a choice were bisexual (how else could you possible think that?!?’) but very insightful to note the difference between attraction and action on attraction!
@sewistwrites We’ve been making some progress the past few years… for instance, I LOVE to plan a menu, and host a party. But I hate actually prepping food and cleaning. So I leave him lists of the food I planned, and he shops/preps/cleans.
@sewistwrites At least a few times last year I’d get ready to drive away and my 4 year old would say “you forgot to buckle me in!”. And when my older daughter started using a seatbelt, I was at a red light, she thought we were stopped, and she took it off! Then panicked 😆.
@firagawalkwthme Do you think they have this conversation about nearly every fight sequence in every action movie? I could cut the runtime of the marvel movies quite a bit and keep the plot and character development in tact!
@ask_aubry But if this is ALL we know about a person, wouldn’t 99% of women pick the second one too?! Like, I’d rather a guy who can cook for me and take care of my family vs. a guy with a big career that I know nothing about (will he also take care of my family?)
@YokedWithChrist My mother-in-law served asparagus once… totally unseasoned and boiled/steamed so long she picked it up with tongs and it flopped like spaghetti. No wonder my husband thought he didn’t like a lot of vegetables!
@v_dcknz We seriously need a campaign to redefine “good for you” to mean it nourishes your body and provides vitamins and macros necessary for optimum body performance, and not “some aspect of this food could cause you to gain weight as compared with a celery stick or rice cake”,
@katimcf I spent months of my life desperately reading pregnancy tests looking for the faintest line possible as a positive… there are whole forums dedicated to pictures of tests looking for if anyone can see a line! That’s the only reason I knew with covid tests!
@MomRobe I happily see a NP instead of an MD for routine care, and my 5 year old’s annual checkup was just recently with an NP. I feel like they have more time/care!
@AshleyGWinter I once had pain so bad (around the hip flexor) I could barely walk and had to take so many sitting breaks… I thought PT was crap because CLEARLY I needed medical interventions. Holy crap, PT fixed me in like 2-3 months. And I mean FIXED.
@sewistwrites How about “she’s just barely having symptoms, but if we keep her home today she can go tomorrow, but if we send her today and she gets sent home, then we need a doc approval and and additional 24 hrs before she can go back, but if she can’t go tomorrow we wasted our only day…”
@RevDaniel My dog LOVES the dog park… it was fine with infant in the stroller, then we didn’t go for years because toddlers and dog parks are a disaster (they. touch. the. ground.). Now I keep the preschool/elem kids right next to me while we watch the dogs play.
@clhubes@melinda_amato My husband used to take them grocery shopping so I’d have some time! Now we usually do grocery delivery. We also have a house cleaner come every 2 weeks. Our meals are boring, because I’d rather get my nails done than meal plan 😂.
