@SouthLanCouncil But surely there should be adequate visibility of oncoming traffic to negotiate such a system. So we have to protect the brige but not the commuters? It’s on a blind bend on a fast road.

@SouthLanCouncil can somebody please explain the logic to installing priority signs on the A70 at Douglas on a blind bend that you can’t actually see the oncoming traffic?? How does this make the road any safer? It actually makes it more dangerous. 🤯

@SouthLanCouncil It’s on the A70 (Eggerton bridge). The work was just done over the weekend. That is an accident waiting to happen. It’s a 60mph road, on a blind bend and the markers are right at the bridge. Crazy!
