@sassypants81 My mother was on a stretcher in the hallway for 1/2 a day when there were no beds in pallitive care, before a make-shift pallitive room was created on an outpatient floor. We never saw a pallitive team before she died 2 days later.
Anne of Green Gables gets criticized a lot for being saccharine but you know what? I *would* like to fall asleep in an apple blossom. I *am* glad to live in a world with Octobers. it *is* a splendid world and Iβm very glad to be alive in it.
In a recent episode of Grey's Meredith said "you can't stay where you did your residency forever because people see you as who you were not as who you've become". Doesn't that just speak volumes about a lot of situations, career and life wise?
