@rickastley@NHSEngland@SJMConcerts@TicketmasterUK@AOArena Had an amazing night in Nottingham thank you so much Rick Astley. You made my year! I am very poorly and have a nurse on the frontline who has looked after me so well. She desperately wanted to come and see you but can’t afford accommodation has anyone any suggestions please?
In the fight against #COVID19, it is imperative to develop vaccines that will work in a real-world setting. Here’s what is needed to overcome the pandemic: https://t.co/pzrx3BlaZr
**THREAD** ***NEW INFORMATION***
We want to reassure you that we have absolutely been fighting on your behalf to ensure the voices of people with asthma are heard. We have been speaking to very senior officials at the Department of Health and Social Care, almost daily…
@AstraZeneca This is such a hidden condition with awful debilitating effects on day to day life. I praise your commitment to raising awareness, improving people’s lives by researching for better quality of care and feel very proud I was asked to be involved in your documentary ‘Breathless’
Reducing inflammation is key to #asthma care. That’s why we’re committed to working with experts who are calling for a shift in asthma management to tackle inflammation, with the ultimate goal of reducing the burden of asthma and increasing patients’ quality of life.
Backed by a growing body of evidence, we’re committed to advancing our understanding of the role of eosinophils in inflammatory diseases with the aim to improve diagnosis, patient referrals and timely, appropriate care.
I’m trying to create awareness of severe Asthma which I’ve suffered with since a baby, I’m 42 and been seriously ill this last year. So many people don’t understand the condition. Please take a look at a short film commissioned by AstraZeneca# raise#awareness#youtube Breathleness
I’ve not long come out of hospital with my severe asthma, I was discharged early because of my risk, (not COVID-19) I’m getting emails and texts from my government saying I am high priority to have a vaccine yet my GP’s still don’t have access. How do I go about this?
For a vaccine to progress from inception to authorisation in less than 12 months demonstrates #WhatScienceCanDo. The collective efforts and dedication from everyone involved has made this monumental achievement possible.
@AllergyNet I will always say they saved my life many times, Doctors didn’t think I would make it to 30 and now I’m 42. However I’m in hospital a lot from the damage they have done. It’s about awareness, listening to the patients and research. I wish no one goes through what I have. X
When it comes to managing #severeasthma oral corticosteroids (OCS) play a critical role but can cause potentially debilitating side effects. Learn more about the realities of living with asthma & why patients deserve not to be reliant on OCS: https://t.co/fJRHBuA863
While significant advancements have been made to improve outcomes for people with #respiratory disease, more can be done to remove barriers to treatment.
