So much fun with these little kinders! It really was a collaborative effort to bring forth global connections this year with Mrs. Eamon and Mrs. Daye. Our last Skype for the year was quite a surprise for one kinder, Mr. E. Love my job as an LCI @UCDSB@ucdsbvlc
Gr. 6 students collaboratively researched different animals at risk in Ontario. Today we Skyped with students at Ecole Al Andalous @OthmaneHejira in Morocco, Africa to present our findings and learn about animals at risk where they live!@ROSchool @UCDSB

Hi. I'm a 6th grade teacher in Mexicali, México. I'm trying to teach my students how a tweet can travel so fast and so far. Can you please retweet this with the name of the city you're reading it? Thanks.
@KateMessner Our kinders are doing an author study on your picture books. They would be absolutely thrilled if you would Skype and read to them! Interested?
@jaclynbrooke28@sluna_luna1 Too funny! We would be outside in t- shirts washing our cars. Your winter temps are our spring temps. We need to Skype again when we have more snow so we can show you!
@sluna_luna1@WestwoodElemen1@jaclynbrooke28 Look at those smiles! Thank you for the connection. Many similarities and differences which opened a great discussion for our students. From our school to yours, Merry Christmas! @SkypeClassroom @UCDSB
