This week we had the opportunity to visit the @Metzler_Library for the first time this school year. Kindergarteners met Mrs. Sonnier, our wonderful librarian, learned how to take care of their books, and listened to a story before checking out their first library book.

Our awesome PE aide, Mrs. Alexander, has been making and trading friendship bracelets with our @MetzlerKISD Huskies this year. 🐾💙 For the last day she created a skirt to show off all of her bracelets. Mrs. Alexander builds lasting relationships with all students. #KISDPRSquad

I was so touched by these gifts today. As 5th grade paraded to their Appreciation Celebration, each student had a carnation to give to someone that had impacted them while at @MetzlerKISD. It’s not a coincidence that the impact they’ve left on me is even greater. 🩷 #KISDPRSquad
