I just took a DNA test turns out I’m 100% that 30 year old in the club who will hype reggaeton from 2004 (DAME MAS GASOLINA) but immediately turn my nose up at mumble rap that all the youths are jamming to these days 😑
I know there’s still a long road ahead to tackle the immense inequality, systemic racism, everything still plaguing our country. But I never really trusted that we’d reach the other side of this nightmare presidency, and the immense relief I feel is what I need to honor today.

@andrewjneumann Hot counter take: everyone SHOULD still be outraged by the president, and the fact that he’s been so consistent just makes it worse... but if everyone is like me, they’re just too exhausted and jaded and unsurprised to do anything productive with the outrage at this point 😑
This afternoon, I helped @stratocaster prep our garden beds by pulling up dead stuff. Our neighbor commented, “Wow, you guys are ambitious today!” Which is passive-aggressive neighbor-speak for, “I have literally never seen you both out here doing yard work at the same time!”
