@John_Thomas518 Not only are kids growing up comparing themselves to everyone else and connecting behind a screen instead of in person (where anxiety, depression, isolation come in) but social media might be putting a barrier between parent to child connection like you mentioned. Great article!
@John_Thomas518 Thanks for the mention! Lots of great info in this article. Although social media can be so helpful for staying connected and networking, I do think it’s gotten out of control for kids. I agree 100% that the amount of social media kids are using will have a negative impact.
Children are experts in their own experiences. Only they know what makes them feel safe, scared or happy. That’s why every child has the right to express their opinions and take part in decisions about their lives. Let’s support young voices to speak up with pride. #ForEveryChild
