Can only agree with his compassion, Chester Burrows was the first chair of the cross party human rights group and showed wonderful leadership in bringing a cross-party approach to issues around refugees and rights. A great loss and condolences to his family
I met Chester Borrows a few times while working on the double the quota campaign. He was always open & warm. When his National colleagues were heartless he showed compassion & care about what NZ could do better for refugees & asylum seekers. A great loss, aroha to his loved ones
Today on #RedHandDay we’re excited to share the #ParisPrinciples Operational Handbook!

Started off my time at #COP27 with a dedicated group of #children and #youth who are part of the @hlcchampions committed to #ClimateAction. Children need a seat at the table to create a greener future.
Take a moment to watch Sheila’s story – she was supported by @Save_Children & now works to create that fairer world.
I’m grateful for her efforts & the commitment of my colleagues around the world who are making a difference for children.

Fantastic working with @HopeandHomes and @hpn_hpg on bring a spotlight on the issue of care for children. So, so important the humanitarian response in #Ukraine looks to build up support to families and child protection systems
