This is just adding to the future trial of senior American officials. There is no law in America, no constitutional authorization, and no international law that allows countries to execute people in boats because they are *alleged* to be running drugs.

Transiting drugs is definitely against international law and American law, and there are rules and requirements and methods on the books that allows us to justly go after them.

Executing people alleged to be running drugs without any due diligence or proof, is not on the option list.

It is deeply distressing that the America I used to know, the one that was governed by the rule of law, now at the government level so brazenly violates laws and morality, because it truly is proud of being in the “law of the jungle,“ and considers ourselves as the lion of that jungle, above rules and regulations.

But as I often say, those who cheer this on, need to be very careful about what they do. Today, the target of extrajudicial punishment is somebody you may not know and do not like. But tomorrow, you may be of the wrong category, or on the wrong side of someone’s preference in Washington DC, and you or one of your family members may suddenly find yourselves in the crosshairs.

And there will be no one to come to your aid then.

BREAKING: Pete Buttigieg brutally DISMANTLES a pro-Trump commentator over his disastrous economy and failed Iran War in a brilliant display of intellectual firepower.

This was an absolute blow-out defeat for MAGA...

"I'm saying this as somebody who knows what it's like to be sent to war by a U.S. president," Buttigieg, a naval veteran, said on CNBC. "And when a president sends you to war, when you and your buddies are on that gray-tailed plane going into a war zone, you do it with some level of confidence, some level of assurance that your chain of command all the way to the President of the United States would not do this if they didn't have a choice."

In the case of Iran War, Trump absolutely had a choice. He could have chosen to put America's interests first and not launched a war on behalf of Israel against a country that posed no immediate threat to the United States.

"Now that we're there, do you hope this has a successful outcome?" asked conservative Joe Kernen. "There were 40,000 Iranians that were slaughtered by the same regime. 47 years of killing Americans, stirring trouble all around the world."

The suggestion that the Iranian government's brutal treatment of its own people somehow entitles Trump to slaughter those same people, bombing schools full of children, is as insulting as it is evil.

"And how do you feel about that regime being left intact by this president?" asked Buttigieg.

"I don't know if that's going to be the case, and I don't know what might happen," said Kernen.

"It's the case right now!" replied the former Transportation Secretary.

"So you don't want this to work, and it was just a bad move, you want us to pull out now," Kernen said.

"Look, there's no obvious way out now, but I want to make sure that this ends in a way that, first of all, our economy can recover, that we're not paying so much for gas," said Buttigieg. "I mean, right now, oil's $100, jet fuel's $200, gas is over $4, diesel's like $5."

"You averaged $3.80 under Biden for four years," said Kernen.

"Yeah, and when we left, inflation was lower than it is today," said Buttigieg.

"You accounted for 21.5% pricing—"

"This president took the inflation rate up!" said Buttigieg.

Ternen tried to quibble with the numbers and Buttigieg hammered him, saying: "It's more than 3% year on year. You saw the numbers just come out. It's more than 3% year on year."

The hosts confirmed Buttigieg's numbers, Ternen waffled and obfuscated, then Buttigieg brilliantly cut through the mess—

"It's higher than when he got here, Joe!" he said.

"It's not 9%," shot back Ternen.

"His central campaign promise was he was going to take inflation and drive it down, and instead he took inflation up!" said Butiggieg. "It was 3% when he got here, and now it's more. It could not be simpler than that!"

"It's around 3% and we're involved in a war with the Strait," said Ternen, as if that makes it any better.

The inflation problem is a direct result of Trump's disastrous policies. Between his harebrained tariffs and his Iran War, he has done nothing but inflict economic hardship on working Americans.

"He said on day one it would go down. He came in on day one, and now it's up," said Buttigieg.

It really is that simple and Ternen's stuttering, dissembling responses proved wholly inadequate to change that basic fact.

"The tariffs have had a minimal effect on—" tried Ternen.

"You tell a family where I live that $1,000 per household is minimal!" said Buttigieg.

"From the 21.5% increase that Democrats—" said Ternen.

"We can argue all day about just how bad COVID was and how bad it got and what it took to come back from that," said Buttigieg. "But where I live, $1,000 per household isn't minimal."

"Now Democrats found religion on inflation," whined Ternen, unable to argue the point. "After presiding over the worst inflation in 40 years, now you found religion."

"It's 2026!" said Buttigieg. "They're in charge. You guys are in charge. "What are you going to do differently? What are you going to do differently to make the prices actually go down like you promised?"

"Number one, we've got to get through this war, and you've heard people—" began Ternen.

"We've got to get through this war!?" interjected an incredulous Buttigieg. "We didn't have to be fighting this war! What are we doing?"

"That's a matter of opinion. You can't say that," whined Ternen.

"It's a matter of opinion that I share with most Americans and a large number of Republicans and a whole bunch of MAGA people who bought into this president because they actually believed in him when he said he was going to get us through the war," said Buttigieg.

Once again, Buttigieg has proven himself to be one of the most masterful communicators that the Democratic Party has to offer.
