The writer's struggle:
1. The words won't come
2. So you hate yourself for not writing
3. And you hate yourself for hating yourself
4. Finally, write some words
5. Hate the words you wrote
6. Repeat until the book is finished

@alipon My mother’s side of the family are like vultures. They swoop in after a death and make off with all the deceased’s possessions. It’s all about stuff with then. It’s sick and gross. It’s hard to mourn when your family is fighting and showing their asses. 😞
@alipon My mom is torn up. He was like an older brother to her. My grandma, too. My uncle is fighting with my great aunt (my great uncle’s sister). And my uncle’s family went to his house and took all his stuff as the doctor’s were still trying to save him.
@alipon I second that. I went back to madison on Thanksgiving to see my family. The day after thanksgiving,on my birthday, my great uncle committed suicide. At least 2021 is almost over.
@alipon I was fond of her too. Of both your parents. I have so many great memories of all the times I spent at your house. I want you to know you are in my thoughts, today, tomorrow, and always. Your friendship really meant so much to me growing up. And still does.
@alipon Scary movies don’t bother me that much anymore. It is the stupid jump scares that get me. The first insidious movie gets me every time and I’ve seen it more than once. We watch way too many horror films in this household so I’ve built up a bit of a tolerance. 😔
@alipon Already put mine up. When I was a kid we always had to wait until after Thanksgiving but I am an adult and I get to decide when I put mine up and that time is now. I say do what makes you happy. 😊
