Enthusiastic cyclist, married to an equally enthusiastic, cyclist husband! Enjoy ambling through our beautiful coast and countryside!! Ex RN of 31 years!
@gaswomancometh It really did make so many of us question and reflect π€
So important to take time to heal, things look so different once you do!
I believe the NHS requires a renewed approach and alternative vision to overcome so many hurdles it faces π§
@BlondiieMama Itβs such a nuisance, especially when cycling, using brakes etc!
The only thing I do is drink plenty of water and have limited salt intake!
It supposedly helps, but I find the warm weather makes it worse π€
@DrNeenaJha @KHoulgate Oh my goodness, canβt believe that Paramedic said that π«£
The old adage that scares myself and my husband, 30 + years in NHS for me and 40 for my husband, is that they βdonβt know what they donβt knowβ
As Healthcare Professionals we compliment the Drs, not instead of!!!
@Peston The first step, as far as I can see, is the acknowledgment of the mammoth task ahead. Concerns re the use of private companies are valid, however this has been happening insidiously for years! We need a govt with a duty of candour and not taking itβs electorate for fools!!
@BlondiieMama Thatβs assuming they got through the A and E doors π«£ Not still waiting in ambulances outside!!
Wonder what the calculations would be then?! π₯Ή
Although appreciate it did say βin A and Eβ π€
@DrNeenaJha I also lay blame with those most in a position to air their concerns!
Those in positions of authority, ie Consultants, senior clinicians, senior Nurses etc, surely have a duty of care?
This is happening in so many localities, am sure not just Torbay?
@DrNeenaJha Having been on the receiving end at the beginning of the year, OGD performed by a PA!
Saw a Consultant recently to discuss findings and was very clearly frustrated by the lack of detail on the scope photos! Remarking that a more experienced Clinician would have been helpful π«£
