Tariffs are taxes.

The foreign company or importer pays the taxes, yes.

Then they pass the cost onto the consumer — by raising prices.

So tariffs are paid by YOU — and the prices of EVERYTHING are about to go up.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure there are plenty of white guy dems I’d support getting into the white house, but there are also equally qualified people who aren’t that demographic who would do a stellar job.

What is kind of frustrating is that the Dems are going to have to run a generic white man next time. Every time the republicans run an unhinged candidate which at this rate may be forever, they’ll always have to combat it by running a sane seeming white guy.
