Selling manufacturing assets is not the same thing as selling the technology.

Ynvisible’s October 7 announcement outlines an agreement to sell its Norrköping roll-to-roll assets to Cellfion for C$960,000 in cash. Equipment, site-related arrangements and production staff are part of the transfer.

Ynvisible says it will retain its intellectual property, electrochromic-display know-how and inventory.

That boundary is the important part of the transaction. The physical production setup moves; the core technology ownership stays with Ynvisible. Closing is expected in October, so the next checkpoint is confirmation that the transaction actually completes and how the revised manufacturing model operates afterward.
