🚉 Today marks 60 years of the National Travel Survey
The first NTS was commissioned by the Ministry of Transport in 1965. It was the first national travel survey in the world and continues to be seen as the ‘gold standard’ of travel survey data collection.
Since 2002, NatCen has proudly conducted the survey on behalf of the Department for Transport. In this video, Research Assistant Gabriel Fung explains how the survey has evolved over time.
