2025-26ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಬಜೆಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದಂತೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ 23 ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಾಗಿ ಉನ್ನತೀಕರಿಸಿ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಇದೀಗ ಮತ್ತೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ವಿವಿಧ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ 16 ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಾಗಿ ಉನ್ನತೀಕರಿಸಿ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಬೋಧನಾ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಭಾರವಿರುವ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರನ್ನು ನಿಯಮಾನುಸಾರ ಈ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಯೋಜಿಸಲು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಪ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಿಗೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

Building on the 2025-26 Budget commitment, the State Government has issued a new order to upgrade an additional 16 Government High Schools across various districts into Pre-University (PU) Colleges. This follows the earlier upgradation of 23 schools, further strengthening the rural education network. To ensure seamless academic operations, District Deputy Directors (DDPUs) have been instructed to deploy lecturers with lighter workloads to these new institutions in accordance with departmental regulations.

2025-26ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಬಜೆಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದಂತೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು 23 ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಾಗಿ ಉನ್ನತೀಕರಿಸಿ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ನೂತನ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಭಾಷೆಯಾಗಿ ಕನ್ನಡ, ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಭಾಷೆಯಾಗಿ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಮತ್ತು ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ವಿಭಾಗದ EBACS (ಅರ್ಥಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ, ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ, ಲೆಕ್ಕಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ, ಗಣಕ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ) ಸಂಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಂಜೂರು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆಯಾ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಸಂಕೇತ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಬೋಧನಾ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಭಾರವಿರುವ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರನ್ನು ನಿಯಮಾನುಸಾರ ಈ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಯೋಜಿಸಲು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಪ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಿಗೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

In accordance with the 2025-26 State Budget, the Government has issued an official order to upgrade 23 Government High Schools into Pre-University (PU) Colleges. These new institutions have been granted specific college codes and are authorized to offer Kannada as the First Language and English as the Second Language. Additionally, the EBACS (Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy, and Computer Science) combination has been sanctioned for the Commerce stream. ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಎಂದರೆ ಕೇವಲ ಪಠ್ಯದ ಓದಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ಅನುಭವದ ಕಲಿಕೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ 347 ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ (200ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ದಾಖಲಾತಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು) ಪಿಸಿಎಂ (ಫಿಸಿಕ್ಸ್, ಕೆಮಿಸ್ಟ್ರಿ, ಬಯಾಲಜಿ) ವಿಷಯಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಾಲಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸಮಗ್ರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ 3.47 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ಗಳ ಅನುದಾನವನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸುಧಾರಿತ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಪರಿಕರಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಾವೇ ಸ್ವತಃ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಇದು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಲಿದೆ.

Science is not just about reading textbooks; it is about experiential learning. In line with this, state-of-the-art laboratories for PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) subjects are being established in 347 government high schools across the state (specifically those with an enrollment of over 200 students). Under this project, Samagra Shikshana Karnataka has released a grant of ₹3.47 crore. This initiative will enable students to develop a scientific temperament by conducting experiments themselves using advanced equipment and safe laboratory apparatus.

2024-25 ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಬಜೆಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದಂತೆ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯಾಬಲ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿರುವ ಆಯ್ದ 100 ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣಕ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಿಗೆ ತಲಾ 12 ರಂತೆ ಒಟ್ಟು 1,200 ಆಲ್‌ ಇನ್‌ ಒನ್‌ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್‌ ಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಬರಾಜು ಮಾಡುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಹವಾದ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ಪಾವತಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ನೀಡಿ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

As announced in the 2024-25 Budget, Computer Science combinations are being introduced in 100 selected Government Pre-University (PU) Colleges with high student strength. To support this, a total of 1,200 'All-in-One' computers are being provided, with 12 units allocated to each college. An official order has been issued granting approval to release the payments to the supplying agency for these computers.
