Boots can often be flat footed and it’s not that he has no defense, it’s that he has poor defensive awareness and responsibility and relies too heavily on his reflexes and athleticism to be his defense.

@BoxingMassacre I mean he’s not wrong. Boots’ is prone to get real messy with his footwork. Crosswalking, stepping backfoot first, can be frozen at times by circle jabs, etc. That being said, it’s still likely going to be a Boots W. Too much of a difference in raw athleticism and explosiveness.

@ShChildBoxing As well simply looking at punches landed, doesn’t really factor in who’s lander the cleaner punches. Shakur was consistently snapping Zepeda’s neck back and landing the visually cleaner looking punches.

@ShChildBoxing It wasn’t effective aggression. If your opponent is landing a similar amount of punches at a way higher clip while throwing much less, who is really dictating the fight and being more effective? If we just go by volume thrown, Zepeda would automatically win every fight he’s in.

@ShChildBoxing Idk about definitely lol, but I do think I gave Zepeda 2 of the first 4 rounds, but after that Shakur had him and pretty much just cruised from there. The only other round of the fight I could argue for Zepeda would be r8 if I remember, but that’s it.

He’s likely making good money and with people like Turki and Zuffa in boxing, there’s plenty of ways for him to potentially make a lot more. He’s already made it clear he’s not fighting with a rehydration clause against anyone.

@nuntoajitt @Hassanwellss The fight is likely never happening. The time where it was a possibility has simply passed. They will never agree on the weight or rehydration. Even if they do, there’s going to be built in excuses for whoever loses. “He weight drained me” or “He came in 20 lbs heavier”.
