@Petty_Hardaway @ErinV1985 It isn’t automatic. There are recidivism programs. A half way house isn’t 1. guaranteed 2. still supervised. Five years isn’t a ton of time and he’s been sitting for a minute but y’all keep playing up a time served argument and this isn’t that. Fed time calculation is tough.

@Petty_Hardaway @ErinV1985 Nope, first time offender status was factored into arriving at the actual 50month. Federal time is generally day for day. He can get exceptions and credit for things like drug programs etc. The 13 months gets deducted from 50 months.
