Today marks the 78th anniversary of the Nakba (catastrophe), during which more than 750,000 Palestinians were expelled and over 400 villages were destroyed to establish the State of Israel.
When we came into office, we uncovered a $12 billion budget deficit.
Today, I’m proud to say we brought it down to zero.
We didn’t close the gap on the backs of working people.
We closed it while funding parks, libraries, safer streets and making historic investments in public housing.
Call it Pothole Politics. Call it Democratic Socialism. It's government that delivers for the people who make this city run.
That’s what New Yorkers deserve. And that’s what we will keep fighting for every single day.
@BroKenSSB The game has been running longer than any post-Melee sequel now.
The only way it can die is for a newer Switch 2 game to show up.
If you want to stop watching or playing the game then just do it already and go to something else.
I don’t think people around the world realize how bad the attack on Lebanon was today. It’s BAD. Like 9/11 BAD. Hospitals are overflowing and do not have enough blood. We still don’t know what the death toll is.
This is TERRORISM. Pure and Simple.
April 8. Never forget.
After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.
May God bless America.
Yesterday Elon joined my call for a global revolution over the Epstein files.
I responded to that with, “You’ll be included in my upcoming report to the Human Rights Council on Epstein files and complicity in Gaza genocide through Starlink and X.”
Elon flagged my account so that all my posts are sent directly to /dev/null.
Can you please do whatever you want to let him see this tweet as I am in X jail. Or better yet, make this tweet one of the most liked tweets ever. Send him the message that he can't manipulate us anymore.
@NathanApplegat3@jacksonhinkle Firsthand account btw. You say “now add more context” as if that’s going to make things better for you. If you still are set on supporting Israel, give up on trying to say they are “the most moral army in the world” and just admit you want to replace 🇵🇸 with a Jewish ethnostate.
I saw this scene with my own eyes while we were being displaced from northern Gaza to the south, passing through the Israeli checkpoint.
They arrested a small child and took him from his mother’s arms.
She held on to him with all her strength, refusing to let him go,
so they beat her and threw her to the ground,
yet she did not stop resisting.
Then they shot her, and she fell bleeding in front of everyone.
When someone tried to help her, he was shot as well.
I stood there helpless, unable to understand how a heart could become so cruel.
Believe me… there are those who know nothing about the meaning of humanity 😭
@NathanApplegat3@jacksonhinkle Ok lost cause 😂 certainly Israel’s immense bomb houses/funding that they brag about didn’t kill more civilians than hamas. Of course 🤦♂️
And yes for the other vid, I’m sure brutalizing a man in a wheelchair is justified after he throws a rock at a tank for blowing up his house👍
The Missing Beneath the Rubble
Approximately 11,200 people.
The rubble does not hold stones alone,
but souls who were never granted a farewell,
and breaths that faded while waiting for rescue.
There, in the heavy darkness,
the sky still calls without an answer,
and hearts hang suspended between collapsing hope
and fear that never sleeps.
The missing beneath the rubble
are not absent from life alone,
but absent from justice,
from farewell,
and from a simple human right:
to have their fate known.
