Today, I audited an account of an agency that charges $3,300 per month to manage Amazon ads.
Their STEALING from this client!
- No bid adjustments in 22 days.
- No report downloads this year.
Here’s how you can quickly check your Amazon ad agency isn’t stringing you along…
@pxue@zolihonig Tbf you both make excellent points. I think in my space atleast, my clients are more tech savvy, so it’s harder to gauge where we end up, but definitely agree in niches that serve boomers and the less tech savvy, the adoption curve is slower
True! But let’s say you made your own AI agents, gave them your historical decisions, insights, knowledge, etc, that would be a crazy good AI agent right? It’s you on steroids. Your competitors might even do this. But then theres also other AI agents that complement your agent. Next thing you know theres 1000s of highly knowledgable agents. And where does that leave us…
Agreed on points 2 and 3, though 3 will eventually dissolve as agents get better. I think point 1 is dependent on the agent. If a large SaaS with thousands of accounts wanted to compile the data and share it with AI, then their AI agent has more context than we as agencies ever will.
Started to notice AI is reducing the quality of my creative thoughts.
I used to be an ideas machine!
It’s clear we need to be cautious with AI outputs and use them only as an additive to our own thoughts.
Don’t let the AI think for you!!!
The majority of video ads on Amazon are poor. It's mostly slideshows and very little high-quality or UGC style videos. This is a relatively easy area to stand out and win sales.
Look into Amazon Marketing Stream and act on hourly performance pushes - scale when CVR holds, throttle when CPC spikes. No more waiting for next-day reports.

New product launch? Push a handful of high-relevancy keywords before going broad. The snowball will build to broader terms as the high-relevancy keywords gain traction.
