Well… there we go then. This has been the state of our ambulance service for 10-15 years. I remember the days of having to page the on call executive if we had a 9’s call we couldn’t resource immediately. Now it’s normal to handover 50-100 waiting calls 😔 #C4Dispatches

Unfortunately this is an almost daily occurrence. 😡 surely there’s a case for using the ‘obstruction of emergency services workers’ act to take legal action against these abusers

Therefore they directly obstructed emergency service workers in their line of duty which is a criminal offence. I hope it was none of their family members they were trying to get to. Literally seconds can mean life or death
