The facts of PIDOM's ordeal since his abduction are horrendous:

1. He was abducted in a multi-agency operation that involved well over 15 fully armed officers.

2. He has been in handcuffs since then and forced to wear tattered clothes throughout (18 days). His wrists are badly bruised, and there are injuries on his body, suggesting he has been tortured repeatedly.

3. His first week in illegal detention and solitary confinement was without food, and in the weeks that followed, he was not given any healthy food until the intervention today.

4. The attempt to transfer control of PIDOM's X account to David yesterday was a failed attempt by intelligence agents to establish an unwitting accomplice in an evil agenda against a victim of state torture who, thankfully, is still breathing.

5. PIDOM's continued survival and eventual freedom will depend on the tireless support and unwavering voices of all well-meaning Nigerians.
