“Take me to the King. I don’t have much to bring. My heart is torn in pieces. It’s my offering. Lay me at the throne. Leave me there alone. To gaze upon your glory. Sing to you this song. TAKE ME TO THE KING!” #PSLive18
If we are in a battle for our minds (a battle I know all too well) then our first line of defense is the Word of God. Every opinion, every article, every social media post, everything we consume that involves our minds, needs to be weighed against the knowledge of God.
We will see Jesus.
Face to face.
The One we’ve longed for.
The hope of nations.
The sky will crack wide open
& there He’ll be.
And He will be so beautiful.
Majestic & so powerful.
And He will right every wrong.
Hold tight to your faith, O Saint.
It is no fool who trusts in Jesus.
You’re not who people say you are. You’re not who social media says you are. You’re not who the scale says you are.
You’re who GOD says you are. And He says you're loved. He says you are held. He says You're His.
Forever His.
Keep going.
Sometimes we keep going by waiting.
Sometimes we keep going by pausing.
Sometimes we keep going by stopping.
Sometimes we keep going by crawling.
Sometimes we keep going by walking.
Sometimes we keep going by running.
Just keep going.
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:5)
Take every thought captive today.
Make it obedient to Christ.
Give the devil no ground.
Take your anxieties to the cross—literally. Next time you're worried about your health or house or finances or flights, take a mental trip up the hill. Knowing all Christ did for you there, don't you think He will look out for you here? —@MaxLucado
