@eldris Yeah, it would be a bit hard at that age. Thankfully I have family who is supportive and I got a break every now and then so I could get some me time...which was usually a hot bath and some writing 😊 I also had a job with down time in an office so I git some edits in too ☺

For example, my debut novel started in a decade that profanity wasn't used as freely as it is today, so I had to use terms most common to that time 😊

@JaymeStoops My little will be doing a hybrid schedule. 2 days in class & 3 online. She's special needs so I have lots of concerns regarding online, mostly I'm worried w/o a teacher in person to help her focus she may not be able to learn as good as if she was in a classroom.

Its either in my bedroom or office, depending on where I'm living and if I have roommates :) Just moved cross country so its currently a bedroom, while I impatiently wait to obtain employment so I can get my own place again.

@JaymeStoops We had a washer flood on us, and when the guy came to fix it, he took the outter part of the washer off and...all of our missing items were found!
Apparently things fly over the drum and fall inside 😄 We even found things we didn't know were missing 😆

@byMorganWright I'd agree that '99.99% of self-published books are garbage' without an editor! I think self-publishing gets a bad rep because of those who skipped a few necessary steps before publishing. 😔

@AuthorKimSwartz @kimwritesbooks My 5yo is starting to learn to let me be alone when I'm writing. Also, if she wants to watch a show she'll tell me, "You can put [name of show she wants] on and go work in your office!" 😊
She's may be developmentally delayed, but she's still very wise 😉
