@jess_paton @rj_anderson I actually love the distinction between the three age groups. Having written in each area, every age has their own hurdles and mindsets, and depicting them in literature can be psychologically beneficial for all of the groups, especially at such difficult, essential ages in life.

Taking a break after doing heavy editing and rewrites on my current Wattpad novels has been great!

I'm a firm believer that all writers need regular recharge breaks 🍹🏝️

@lepalphreyman @missroseanne1 Right? Writers are only meant to write *relevant* scenes, so do we really need to list every bathroom trip? On my stories, I've also frequently gotten the, "Shouldn't she be on her period about now? Why hasn't she gotten her period yet?" 😬🤣

@yabookprincess Forreal! Readers can be so harsh and unforgiving to female characters!! It's a terrible double standard (If a guy fucks up, he's cool and edgy but if a girl fucks up she's stupid and incompetent. If a guy sleeps around, he's desirable but if a girl sleeps around, she's a whore)🤦‍♀️

@yabookprincess Yeah, absolutely! I don't know if your character is male or female but I've definitely experienced readers being nicer when my male characters make mistakes than when my female ones do, too.
