@ReferenceGrrrl FYI, I will happily email you a literature review and a preliminary questionnaire if you are vaguely interested! (The questionnaire isnβt done yet, but the lit review is mostly done.)
@ReferenceGrrrl You are at a CC, right? Maybe look into writing up an information use study for some of you HS programs? NLM grant season continues apace? Also, there are basically no information use studies for CC nursing students. And the ones that exist are decades old or not US-based.
@OverduePod Loool. Listening to todayβs episode and cackling. My dad trained as a smoke jumper in the mid-80βs. If you want a fun rabbit hole, go look up Smitty the Jumper. I got to meet him and he was an absolute sweetheart.
@BonAnnieEats I am! Weirdly, people are writing cards and letters to me. Which is super great! Itβs like itβs 1994 or something. Also, J. Jill seems keen.
I was asked by a friend today about what I was doing the last few weeks as she could not understand how I was busy 8+ hours per day with the library closed. Here is a little run down of #librarylife as a #WFH#programminglibrarian /1
Since this thread is gaining traction, putting in a PSA:
Many hourly library workers are home without any pay so pls donate to the Help a Library Worker Out (HALO fund) for library staff who need help with expenses during this crisis.
