Went back to teaching. It’s been over a week since my partner died. I could feel the tense vibe from the students. I try to joke and laugh with my students but I can barely stand without shaking. #phdvoice

Today I found out I lost my partner in a car accident yesterday. I canceled class for this week. I've never lost someone so close to me before and I don't know how to navigate it as a PhD student. I'm lost and scared of the future. #phdvoice
