I teach preservice teachers at Missouri State University through a social justice lens. I'm passionate about innovative teaching and trauma informed practices.
Wrapping up summer research, but really just starting something. In a survey of 75 teachers across the US, 100% report that they experience the impact of secondary trauma, yet only 25% of them have healthy practices in place to navigate those impacts. Let's talk about that.
Hey teachers! If you have experienced the impacts of secondary trauma from working with children impacted by trauma, I want to hear and share your stories. Take the survey here: https://t.co/7MvAIjDL4R
Last chance to share your stories! Looking for teachers who have been impacted by the effects of secondary trauma to complete this survey! https://t.co/7MvAIjDL4R
