Londoners please help me out - I’m looking for a taste of #Malta in the city. I’m talking pastizzi, figolla at Easter, maybe even Kinnie & twistees - potentially rabbit stew. I can’t find an open (RIP Parparellu) Maltese restaurant/cafe anywhere! Any recommendations? #londonfood
Best mates who bought a house together in London save £70k fixing it up themselves - even though they had no DIY experience #property#london#DIY https://t.co/oFneRtg8Rv
The @myldn team is still going strong with the live blog if you want to see how my colleagues get on with the last legs of their trips (as well as an overview of today’s reporting) I’m off to unpack a suitcase containing one coat! https://t.co/y1etv8yNFO
Update on Heathrow today: I’m in terminal 3 and the journey so far has been surprisingly smooth. Got through security & checked bag in 40 mins. Although I’m told I’m more likely to run into problems arriving into Heathrow 👀 we’ll see about that later! Now at the gate @myldn
Update 4: We made it to Heathrow in good time. Had to wait on the plane for 30 minutes before we could get off after landing but security & baggage claim took maybe 15 minutes. I also sat next to the loveliest couple from Canada who travel the world going to hard rock cafes!
Update 5: I’m on my way home while my colleagues continue to make their journeys back to London. Pretty much a smooth ride with #Heathrow today, can’t say the same for #Shiphol. I guess the main (obvious) takeaway is airports are unpredictable but travellers need more certainty
If you’re also in #Heathrow today and want to share your experiences please DM or comment here! And if you want to keep up to date with the whole project check out our live blog: Let’s do this!🧳✈️ https://t.co/firUS08vXG
I’m taking part in a big @myldn project today as one of four reporters travelling via London’s biggest airports to gauge the situation for passengers atm. I’ll be flying to Amsterdam via #Heathrow (wish me luck) and sharing updates along the way. 🇳🇱
