Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.
This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.
Auschwitz took time.

@clhubes Chicken Bones. I moved to Nova Scotia and my coworkers were talking about chicken bones for a solid ten minutes one day. I couldn’t understand why everyone seemed to love eating them.
A few years later I found out “Chicken Bones” is a hard cinnamon/chocolate holiday candy.
