@ShaunLintern We had good spirits and a mix of new and older consultants - the first time i had met many of them face to face. Found a support system in the midnight huddle i hadnt known existed (us paeds are at the further point in the hospital to everyone else so rarely venture far!).

Scared the life out of me! Luckily one wonderful nurse guided me through what she wanted and another went to fetch the registrar!
