⚠️ Please monitor local water levels and weather conditions and do not drive through floodwater as bow waves may affect adjacent properties.
Flood warning area: River Amber at Ambergate and Bullbridge.
⚠️ Areas most at risk are Ambergate, along the A610 at
Riversdale.
High river levels are causing flooding today and the risk of flooding continues.
Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours.
Residents are welcome to collect sandbags from these locations if needed.
If you are near the Town Hall in Ripley, we also have empty sandbags available for collection, which residents can fill with their own sand if needed.

Flood alerts remain in place across Amber Valley, and as a precaution, our crews are preparing to drop pre-filled sandbags at the following five locations. We aim to have all sites supplied by 3pm.

⚠️ Amber Weather Warning
A Met Office Amber Rain Warning is now in place for Derbyshire until 23:59 tonight, with Storm Claudia expected to bring persistent, heavy rainfall throughout the day. 40–60mm of rain is expected across Derbyshire with some places seeing around 80mm.
