Did you know that we don’t have a shortage of GPs, we have a shortage of funded GP posts. The madness is that there are qualified GPs who can’t get a job. How crazy is this country
‘We were delighted to convene the session and the message coming from all the panel was clear – rehab is the enabler for the system and must be given the resources it needs.’

Private health care costs big bucks.
It’s interesting.. I was looking at jobs and saw some very lucrative private GP jobs in Manchester. Offering 15 - 30 min consultations, £150k per year, private health, gym membership, company car, modern premises with same day access for investigations.. the future of health?
Great for doctors, great for some but not all patients.
As a GP from a working class background, I continue to work for the NHS because I strongly believe everyone should be entitled to good healthcare regardless of who they are and how much they earn.
But as working conditions deteriorate, and morale erodes, these companies will gradually poach doctors from the NHS.. and we will be left with a 2 tier system. Not right, not fair.
I need to have confidence that the next government won’t hate the NHS as much as this current lot 😞 🙏🏻

The other mistakenly ticked a box on a form which meant he received 30p per week more in benefits over 6 years.

Brexit Britain working to bankrupt you.
Patients can't get appointments to see a GP despite GPs working their socks off (we need more GPs) and yet I heard today people completing their many years of training as GPs can't find a job. What is going on???!
When Junior Doctors are on £16 an hour and MP's are on £46 an hour.
And raising the Junior Doctors pay by £4 an hour is unaffordable, even though they just raised MP's pay by £5 an hour.
It's hard not to see the lie.
RT if Junior Doctors NEED paying.
Michael Gove lied on TV by saying that Britain‘s water quality hasn’t gone down and that standards have gone up under Conservative Government.
RT if that liar needs to take a swim and a nice big gulp of that clean water.
Nice that Catherine, Princess of Wales is spending 10-14 days in hospital, post op.
I was slung out the day after surgery & went home with someone elses tablets and a nice load of covid.
I’m just a mere peasant though
Here’s a reminder of my hospital tea. Bet Kates is better…
The importance of rehabilitation, and often the lack of it, cannot be underestimated and affects populations globally.
The CSP is committed to ensuring everyone in the UK has their #Righttorehab realised, with the workforce to deliver it.
Last month, the Social, Therapeutic and Recreational Rehabilitation team at Walkergate Park raised an incredible £2023 for the Trust's SHINE charity at their annual fundraiser. “Not only did we beat last year’s target, we smashed it!" says Debbie Potter, Activities Facilitator.
