So inflation is growing but at a slower rate, but remember that does NOT lower prices.
Take an item that cost £1.00
Added inflation at 11.1%
It cost £1.11, an 11 pence rise
Now that item at ££1.11 is subject to a 3.9% increase
It will cost £1.15
a 4 pence increase
Also, these figures are averaged: people on longer incomes, spending more on essentials have inflation running at 10 to 11%
@RishiSunak So instead of stuff being 11.1% higher
Stuff will be 11.1% higher from last year, and another 3.9% higher
I wonder if everyone got a 15% pay rise form last year to account for the 15% rise in prices.
@SuellaBraverman You do know you were the Home Secretary in charge of immigration? But don’t worry, you were elected on many pledges, none of which you’ve delivered on, so the British public are used to your government not delivering on anything unless it’s for the benefit of itself.
@AccountableGOP The population of N Korea isn’t 1.4b though, it’s c26m! Is he talking about China or maybe India. What a goon. Not good with numbers, as his over-inflated real estate estimations show 😂 Also has an over-inflated ego preventing any shred of embarrassment 🤦♀️
@YvetteCooperMP Braverman will be most disappointed if there’s no trouble at the March in London (the march that never said it was going anywhere near the cenotaph). So much so I wouldn’t be surprised if plants from rent-a-mob were put in to make sure there’s trouble.
