(2/2) Annai Meenambal and Thiru EV Ramasamy participated in the conference on behalf of the Madras Depressed Classes Federation (DCF) and the Self-Respect Movement respectively. In 1938, DCF was changed into Scheduled Castes Federation (SCF) and in 1942 it became All India SCF.

(1/2) 117 years ago, Dr. Iyothee Thassar, the REVIVER OF BUDDHISM IN INDIA, inaugurated the Bengaluru branch of the Sakya Buddhist Society on December 1, 1907. A library and a school were also started on the same day. The first president of this branch was Subedar AD Rajalingam.
