Strides over towards @TheYoungCynic at the courtyard where she knew he would be smoking, a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips as she faces him.
“So, you got my scent then? Was it me?”
@TheYoungCynic She laces their fingers together, snorting at his cheeky comment. “Believe it or not, I honestly think it would be exciting. But only if it’s /not/ planned. And if we’re trying not to get caught.”
That’s right. She’s had her fair share of dirty thoughts about Evan. He had been—
@TheYoungCynic When Ellie was finally aware of her surroundings, she saw a couple of eyes on them and a few whispers that were obviously about them.
“What are you looking at?” She huffed at one Gryffindor student as she let Evan pull her away from the crowd.
@TheYoungCynic She kissed him. For everyone to see. They were officially together. Even if it took a long time for her to finally let loose, all of it was worth it because Ellie had someone who was happy to have her. And she couldn’t be happier herself.
@TheYoungCynic Evan rarely showed affection to anyone, and the few times that he did, it was toward her. It never fails to make her heart flutter.
Wrapping her arms around his torso, she came closer and tipped her toes to kiss him. Out in the open, for the first time. It felt right.
@TheYoungCynic “I’m surprised you actually want to commit.” She teased, even though she knew fully well that Evan only had eyes for her.
“Are you sure you’re ready to give up your playboy image?”
@TheYoungCynic Ellie bit her lip, evidently holding back the grin that was begging to show. It didn’t last long, a chuckle escaped her and she was beaming with happiness.
“Okay.” She raised her hands up, nodding in admission. She was caving. “We’ll see where this goes.”
@TheYoungCynic Her knees felt weak upon hearing his words. She knew it was true and there was no point denying it now.
Her defensive look faltered, and for once, she let herself cave in. Ellie’s features turned soft, pure longing finally evident.
“Let’s say I actually believe you. What—
@TheYoungCynic “How could you tell it was mine?” She asked, crossing her arms over her chest while raising a brow. Ellie was partly convinced, but Evan still had a reputation with girls. Guarding her heart was necessary.
@TheYoungCynic Ellie dipped her head slightly into the cauldron and the first scent was the smell of tobacco before a cigarette has been lit. It was quite a distinct smell and she knew exactly who it belonged to. And as her eyes flickered to the boy she thought of, he was looking right back. —
@TheYoungCynic “Deal.” Ellie nodded, actually excited for a potions class for once. Actually, most of the girls in class were excited to try it out. As Slughorn carefully instructed the class to brew the ingredients, Ellie had never been more focused. The colors changed according to Slughorn’s—
@TheYoungCynic Eleanor was smug as Slughorn told them that they were brewing love potion. She was right. They were asked to partner up and gather all the ingredients and materials in the cabinets, so she hopped off her chair and bumped Evan on the way. “Will you tell me if you smell the sun?”
@TheYoungCynic The look in her friends’ faces as they caught Evan’s arm around Ellie’s shoulder would have sent them screeching if it wasn’t for the professor already there. Good thing, Ellie decided to stay far away from Alicia and her friends as possible so that she doesn’t have to answer —
