Encouraging to see the level of ambition and capability being developed locally in advanced technology and manufacturing, particularly by founders from the South East building for both domestic and global markets.

Conversations focused on how innovation, local production, and applied technology can support industrial growth, strengthen critical infrastructure, and create opportunities for skilled jobs.

Today, we mark a significant milestone in our journey to secure a sustainable and prosperous energy future for Anambra. With the inauguration of the Anambra State Electricity Regulatory Commission, we are establishing a robust regulatory framework to guide, monitor, and sustain electricity business and activities in our state.

We have:

- Developed the Anambra State Electricity Policy
- Created the Anambra State Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) for energy demand and supply
- Passed the Anambra State Electricity Law, 2025, domesticating the national Electricity Act 2023

The following shall serve on the board of the commission;
