NZ “has asked a US court to toss out a bid to ban NZ fish imports to help protect Māui and Hector’s dolphins... NZ’s request has been supported by the US government itself – but the charity fighting the case says it has no intention of backing down.” https://t.co/R8N56gw0dG
Ideas, innovation, and entrepreneurship were on the agenda as Consul General Melissa Sweeney welcomed founders, investors, and business leaders from the Electrify Aotearoa conference and AmCham Women in Business to the Consul General’s Residence.
As we celebrate Freedom 250 and 250 years of American independence, we reflected on the role innovation has played in driving economic growth, creating opportunity, and solving challenges - from the founding of the United States to the next generation of entrepreneurs building the future.
The United States and New Zealand share a strong tradition of innovation, and we look forward to continuing partnerships that support founders, strengthen commercial ties, and create new opportunities for collaboration across our innovation ecosystems.
