Free Market Capitalism, Open Borders, Economic Freedoms, Social Freedoms.
Classical liberal. Fighting against the populist left and the populist right.
@EconReimu I wish a libertarian party wins one day, instead of the populist anti-capitalist republicans and democrats.
stuck stupid tariffs and stupid taxes.
Americans don't really have a pro-freedom, pro-globalism and pro-free market option.
@SoveyX you don't have to justify yourself, Freedom is the bedrock of western liberal democracies.
Although, it sounds a bit leftist to try to shove sexuality to AI characters.
@arasava@Mike_Pence Reagan also firmly rejected tariffs and protectionism.
Trump and his protectionist anti-capitalist maga fanboys are a disgrace.
The free market will prevail.
@TalkingHeadless I'm 100% with you here, that's the greatness of globalization and multiculturalism!
But I think even if Obama was never president, people would still find ways to be upset about non-english advertising (remember that they were upset about a spanish song during superbowl)
@AnthonyGalli@Pontifex@FmrRepMTG As a fellow free market capitalist, I find it very hypocrite that you criticize open borders.
Freedom of movement is the bedrock of free market capitalism. The government should not hinder the free movement of goods, services and labor.
You're a big-government socialist.
@EconReimu I think that these days, with MAGA and the rise of collectivism, Hayek's work (especially "The Road To Serfdom") is eminently relevant.
The right in the west is falling into collectivism and anti-capitalist nonsense, we have to keep exposing it and save liberalism.
We’re gonna take Hayek so seriously, you may even get tired of taking him seriously. And you’ll say, “Please, please. We’re taking him too seriously. It’s too much.” And I’ll say, “No it isn’t. We have to keep taking Hayek seriously. We have to take him more seriously!”
@OfficialLoganK Let's be generous and say that being great in your domain means being in the top 10%. A 90% unemployment rate is still extremely disruptive.
@elonmusk Shortsighted republicans may believe that its good because the all powerful leader is on their side. But they will bitterly regret it when eventually a democrat will inherit that power.
@NeoUnrealist@acnewsitics The government should be minimal anyways. So it shouldn't restrict the freedom of movement that goods, services and people should enjoy in the first place.
@TheColeShow_YT The love of God knows no border. And I think that the inherently corrupt secular powers (such as governments) should not hinder the god given freedom of individuals. Hence, goods, people and services should flow freely, based on supply and demand only.
@TheColeShow_YT Well of course it's not difficult to be right of Trump. Trump is basically a leftist. Not only through is very liberal lifestyle. But also through the fact that he pushes for big and repressive government and support very high taxes (tariffs). Even Obama is on the right of Trump.
@Donna__Twitting@Bran_1022@georganneb @drprevost @jamesfburnett Any person in need of help is sure to be welcome and sheltered in the Vatican. And the doors of Catholic churches are always open to those in need.
Please stop insulting the love of God and stop preaching hatred and division. You seriously need to repent.
