The Incompatibility
Trent explicitly condemns the idea that confidence in God’s mercy alone is enough to justify a soul and remit all punishment. Yet Faustina’s “Jesus” repeatedly promises exactly that: complete forgiveness of sins and all temporal punishment for a single act of trust on one specific day, or by simply reciting the Chaplet.
This is not a minor difference. It is a direct contradiction of a solemnly defined dogma of the Church.
