@jim_crawfurd@Carljordan5@safc_AoL@TheTIGriff@Prof_Umbongo i know 1 of the families, whose houses were rammed. whose houses the police didn’t turn up to and as of yesterday, they still hadn’t been to investigate or take a statement! not sure if they’ve been today 🤷♀️ people can say what they like on socials but no body knows the lead up
@Carljordan5@safc_AoL@TheTIGriff@jim_crawfurd@Prof_Umbongo i’m not watering it down you fucking moron. i’m stating 2 facts. had the police even bothered to turn up to the houses that had been rammed (which they didn’t!!) they may not have gone out. Both are in the wrong for 2 different reasons
@harryxafc@jim_crawfurd@Prof_Umbongo as i said i only know 1 of the families. they’ve worked all their lives, aren’t criminals etc. i’ve seen articles about the other ones too, however the family i know are the only ones not being talked about in the news which says it all / proves my point.
@safc_AoL@Carljordan5@TheTIGriff@jim_crawfurd@Prof_Umbongo not blaming anyone else i’m stating a fact. a fact that has conveniently been left out by the news. the boys shouldn’t have gone out i’m not denying that however if the police had done what they are supposed to do in the lead up things could have ended differently.
@JohnPapworth4@harryxafc@jim_crawfurd@Prof_Umbongo not disputing that that’s the typical thing people and the boys clearly weren’t good people. the family i know (only 1 of them from the 5 lads) are genuine good people, have worked all their lives, aren’t criminals etc. it’s not fair for them to be slated everywhere.
@Carljordan5@TheTIGriff@jim_crawfurd@Prof_Umbongo i’m not disputing that, just stating it wasn’t stolen. yes they were 100% in the wrong however in the lead up to it/what happened before the crash the police force were in the wrong. had they done their job and arrested the 17 they have now, the lads wouldn’t have even been out.
@7003y@jim_crawfurd@Prof_Umbongo nothing to do with how they were raised. are your parents to blame for every mistake you make in life? no. they were young vulnerable boys who were groomed into crime gangs and unfortunately turned out the way they did as a consequence of that
@harryxafc@jim_crawfurd@Prof_Umbongo absolutely nothing to do with the family at the end of the day. i know one of the families and they are good people. People can be led astray and groomed into crime gangs etc as young teenagers. are your parents blamed for every mistake you make in life?
@ScottFryer@Prof_Umbongo the pursuit itself was called off because they went the wrong way down the motorway and police are not allowed to follow. obviously had they not crashed the police would have still had intentions of arresting them etc.
@kopcvintage@anonymousEire1 they were good parents (at least 1 family i know was), people can be lead astray and it’s nothing to do with the family. are your parents to blame for mistakes you make? i’m not disputing that they were completely in the wrong for what they did but it’s unfair to blame the family
@B_A_47 @lunacute1121 @anonymousEire1 they didn’t. people can be lead astray and it’s nothing to do with their families. are your parents to blame for mistakes you make? i’m not disputing that they were completely in the wrong for what they did but it’s unfair to blame the families.
@HSE_Steph @lunacute1121 @anonymousEire1 one of the families i know and they were good people, he wasn’t dragged up and he has still turned out like this. at the end of the day, people can be lead astray which all of these boys clearly were and the families shouldn’t be blamed for it.
@EndTheShitShow@andyburnham i know one of the families, the families weren’t even informed until after their names were posted everywhere! not sure where you got ‘no respect’ from. they will have been much easier to identify given the fact they will have had badge numbers etc and family informed faster
@EndTheShitShow@andyburnham they were mostly under 18. they also needed to be identified and families notified. a gruesome crash like that, it won’t be a straightforward case of identifying them and it doesn’t take a genius to figure that out.
What's the point of gun drills in elementary school if the shooter grows up knowing where to find the children hiding and the cops are too afraid to follow the shooters into the schools they're attacking?
