2/ Energy Crisis Incoming

Clause 2(6)(d) mandates the end of fossil fuel exploration, extraction, import, and export “as rapidly as possible.”

With no viable alternatives, expect:

3/ Food Security at Risk

Clause 2(6)(f) cloaks forced land rewilding under vague promises of "supporting farmers."

In reality, this clause prioritises ecosystem restoration over agriculture.

Clause 2(6)(b) commits to cutting emissions from imports and services. The real cost?

A ban on the use, extraction, and import of fossil fuels as soon as possible, which will cripple energy independence, skyrocket bills, and destroy entire industries.

Severe restrictions on farming, forcing farmers to meet impossible environmental targets, possibly driving many out of business, and threatening food security.

Strict land use controls, prioritising rewilding over housing and agriculture, ignoring the needs of families, workers, and local communities.

Power to unelected bodies, allowing them to enforce these measures without scrutiny, taking decision making away from local councils and communities.

Increased costs for families and businesses, making daily life unaffordable for millions and forcing businesses to shut down.

A centralised approach that bypasses democratic processes, prioritising global environmental goals over the real needs of the British people.

📢 What I Have Done So Far:

In recent weeks, I have worked relentlessly to stop this Bill, including:

Assisting in the creation of a detailed briefing paper for MPs, outlining the devastating impacts of the Bill and urging them to act.

Using the Reform UK internal email system to escalate the issue to leadership and encourage coordinated action.

Sharing evidence backed threads detailing how this Bill will affect farmers, families, and key industries.

Directly engaging with MPs to urge them to represent their constituents and oppose this legislation.
