🥶Winter Weather Update🥶

A significant ice storm is currently affecting a large portion of Mississippi. Trees and tree limbs are falling and causing power outages. Roads are covered with ice throughout most of north MS and parts of central MS. Please stay home, stay safe, and stay warm.

Temperatures will continue to drop throughout the day, and the temperatures will be dangerously low tonight for all of Mississippi. Wind chills will be in the teens or below. Frostbite and hypothermia are likely with prolonged exposure.
