In Dec 2011, Obama ordered U.S. embassies and agencies to push LGBT “rights” worldwide as official foreign policy. Hillary Clinton declared “gay rights are human rights” at the UN.

Diplomacy and aid pressure followed.
On trips to Senegal (2013) and Kenya (2015), Obama lectured African leaders.

They pushed back hard — citing culture, faith, and sovereignty.

Senegal’s president publicly rejected decriminalizing homosexuality. Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya and others stood firm.

“Top progressive fundraiser Evan Barker just quit the Democrats and voted for Trump”

Raised in a Kansas City union family, she campaigned for Obama in high school, organized for Hillary in 2015, and went on to raise millions for AOC, Cori Bush, and Jasmine Crockett. She helped the far left take over the party from the inside.

Then she walked away.

Her breaking point came at billionaire Tom Steyer’s mansion in San Francisco. Rich donors sipped champagne with a Golden Gate view while a speaker declared that working-class voters who left for Trump were gone for good and not worth winning back. The crowd applauded.

When Barker suggested putting some of Steyer’s $60 million into Missouri — her home state — the reply came with a smirk: “We will never, ever go to Missouri.”

The party of Harry Truman wrote off the lunch-pail Democrat.

Barker’s own family lived the cost. Factory towns hollowed out after NAFTA. Her Navy-veteran, 40-year union uncle now votes Trump. When she asked if Democrats look down on people like him, he laughed: “They don’t even look at me at all.”

Identity politics, open borders, and cultural contempt finished the job that trade deals started.

She raised their money. She ran in their circles. And she left.

He stated there would be “no more elections here” so opposition parties cannot “seize the government” or “seize power,” and vowed “never, never, never.”

This formalizes the end of even the pretense of democratic processes in a country already under long-term authoritarian control by Ortega and his wife/co-president Rosario Murillo. 1059
