Funny thing about armored bulldozers. The Army has them too. In 2003 a village just south of Balad, Iraq managed to put an RPG through one of our Bradley’s & kill SSG Panchot. They had been a constant problem, but this was the final straw.
In response, we triple stranded their village, placed concrete barriers everywhere, fougassed the fields to deny concealment, & called for all of the village Sheikhs to sign an agreement to keep control of their people. The ones who didn’t, we gave 10 minutes to collect their belongings & bulldozed their house. That village never attempted an ambush again.
Don’t worry, we consulted JAG first & Rumsfeld signed off on it.
Since it’s Killdozer day, it sparked a memory.
@VMickCRO@octoprime13007 I need you explain how Europe both defends and sustains the fight for Greenland against the US.
Because you clearly have no clue how military operations or logistics works.
@valizadehir@ProfessorPape “Says the guy who thinks F-15s were casually strolling over Tehran dropping JDAMs.”
Because they were lmao.
You’re not in Tehran or you wouldn’t lying so blatantly.
@valizadehir@ProfessorPape “Hollywood movies and actual military doctrine”
I actually do. Unlike you.
I see we’ve moved to the stand off munition cope.
Why were F-15s flying directly over Tehran drilling JDAMs if IRGC had any meaningful air defnsives left?
1) Greenland is meant to counter Russia, not help it. Which is why Russia panicked over the US possibly isn’t fully acquiring Greenland.
2) Europe isn’t going to fight over Greenland.
3) Europe as a half lacks the expeditionary capability to contest let alone retake Greenland if the US decided to take it.
Just stop you’re exposing how uneducated you are on this topic.
You’re not very bright, are you?
Half of the manned aircraft losses were due to either friendly fire or destruction by US forces. It doesn’t even include the two Little Birds lost either lol.
The IRGC air defense was so bad that the crippled Iraqi Army in 2003 was able to shoot down more manned aircraft.
Remember, words have meaning: air superiority is different from air supremacy.
If you are from Tehran, just look around. Clearly something didn’t go right for the IRGC if US and Israeli aircraft were flying at will whenever and wherever they wanted.
@DanielLDavis1@DougAMacgregor It wild see Col McGrifter become the very traitor he is claiming to fight against. His advocacy for a nuclear Iran will just end up leading to the IRGC nuking someone.
You said this “It forces Trump to either comply with a formal directive from both chambers of Congress”
A concurrent resolution is actually meant to “Concurrent resolutions are generally used to make or amend rules that apply to both houses. They are also used to express the sentiments of both of the houses.”
You’re framing this in a way that isn’t true. The concurrent resolution is at best a sternly written letter saying stop doing that. Trump doesn’t even have to acknowledge it exists.
That’s it.
Don’t conflate unwillingness with inability.
That’s a classic uneducated third worlder argument. 😏
The US dismantled the Islamic regime’s air defense network with ease in a few days, rendering all supposed advanced Chinese and Russian air defense capabilities ineffective.
Russian milbloggers rightly meltdown over how the US (and Israeli) Air Force can so easily establish air superiority while wiping out air defenses, while the Russians (or the Indians and Pakistanis) struggle to even approach a front line without being shot down.
Or as one French general said, the US is insane for thinking it can just fly aircraft into the middle of nowhere, establish airfields, and conduct combat operations, it’s impossible. Yet the US routinely trains to do exactly that without much effort.
The best part: we fought and killed Quds forces in Iraq for a few years. As soon as they crossed the border, they were rapidly hunted down and killed. The IRGC stopped sending its members into Iraq for a time because it was a death sentence for them.
No, you’re conflating political unwillingness to do the right thing with the military capability to do it.
@cabsav456 A resolution has zero legal bearing in federal law without the president signing it. That’s as the core of SCOTUS’ decision.
A joint resolution and a bill are constitutionally the same thing.

“The ONLY reason why Trumpedo is hell bent on invading Greenland is because he was ordered to do so by Putin.”
Do yuh even understand why the US has desired to acquire Greenland since 1840?
Because if you did you would know that your statement is wildly uneducated and dead wrong.
